Ultimate boat trip for the Mad Hatter and Alice before she’s leaving. The Mad Hatter has a shy smile because he knows that Alice will never come back.
He finally found the answer to his riddle. He hears the distant shouts of joy, the laughs from Alice and the Cheshire cat… But this world doesn’t belong to him any more.
A melancholy farewell.

Originally made for a 3D picture contest in 2010, this is my vision of the last visit of Alice in Wonderland. It’s the first complex full CGI project I’m really proud of the hair and fur on characters. I learned a lot of new process for shaders and rendering.
